Malcolm In The Middle Season 7 x264 720p

These are 720p re-encodes of the following torrent:

As with season six, the source video bitrate was too low and there wasn't 1080p worth of picture detail, but it cleaned up enough to justify 720p. There's samples of both the source and the corresponding encodes included for comparison.

The source was 25fps, so I slowed it to 23.976fps and replaced the audio with stereo AC3 from some old NTSC versions (the source audio was low bitrate stereo AAC). Several episodes were censored/edited. Aside from episode one, I restored the edited video by taking it from an old 720p version (only slightly lower quality than these encodes). As episode one was edited and I didn't have a 720p copy, I took the missing video from an old DVD encode (the quality difference doesn't stand out).

There's no subtitles, as the subs from the source no longer sync. If they're available somewhere, subtitles for the season 7 NTSC DVDs would probably be fine.

Video: 23.976fps, 1280x720, x264, Level 4.1, CRF18, Tune Film, Preset Slower (almost).
Audio: Stereo AC3.
Subtitles: None.
